Send us the name, the dates and the message through the configurator or on WhatsApp, and the photo on WhatsApp. We prepare the design and show it to you for approval — the digital sketch is free and reaches you wherever you live, with no need to travel to Portugal. We only produce after you approve it, and you pay nothing before that.

Prices run from €35 for the 14×22 cm slate memorial plaque to €230 for the large half-metre format (53×33 cm). Every price is listed, with its size alongside, in the size table. Shipping is not included: it depends on the destination and is stated in your quote, before any payment.

Production takes 7 to 14 working days from your approval of the design, not from the day you first write to us. On top of that comes transport to the delivery address, fully tracked — allow a few extra days for delivery outside Portugal.

Laser engraving carves the lettering and lines into the slate, permanently. UV printing applies the photograph in colour, resistant to sun and rain without fading.

Yes. Slate is a natural stone that stands up to the weather, and the UV print was made for permanent outdoor use.

Slate is lighter, more affordable and allows sharper colour photo engraving. Granite is more traditional and heavier, at a higher cost.

Because every headstone is engraved to measure with the name, photo and message the family approved beforehand, we do not accept returns for change of mind once the design has been approved, in accordance with Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014. For your peace of mind, we always send the design for your approval before producing — nothing is engraved without your consent. If the piece arrives defective or different from the approved design, we handle correction or replacement at no cost.

Yes. Once the design is approved, we keep you posted on WhatsApp at every stage — production, packing and dispatch — right through to delivery. The shipment is tracked, wherever it is going.

Yes. Send us the photo on WhatsApp — that way we can see straight away whether it is sharp enough to engrave and tell you on the spot. We work on the image to get the best possible result and show you the design for approval before anything is produced.

Yes. The 7 to 14 working days run from your approval of the design, not from the order date — and transport to the delivery address is added on top of the production time. When All Saints' Day falls on a Sunday, delivery has to be completed the Friday before. The earlier you talk to us, the more room there is to get everything done without rushing. If you are closer to the date, ask anyway: we will tell you honestly whether it can still be done.

It depends on the cemetery. The earth of a new grave settles over months, and many municipal regulations set a waiting period after burial; others set different periods and some set none at all. There is no single national rule: confirm it with the parish council or the cemetery. In the meantime we keep your project on file — the photograph, the name, the dates and the inscription — at no cost and with no expiry.

In most cases the plaque rests on the existing grave and needs no building work — so it is not the same as putting up a new monument. Even so, what each cemetery asks for varies: usually a simple request at the cemetery office or the parish council is enough, and some have their own rules on sizes or materials. We do not take that for granted, because it changes from place to place. If you tell us which cemetery it is, we will help you work out what is usually needed before going ahead.

We make the plaque and ship it to the address you give us; placing it is not included. Because the piece rests on the existing grave, with no building work, many families place it themselves or ask whoever already looks after the grave. In some cemeteries the cemetery staff or a local stonemason does it. If you do not know who to turn to, ask us: we will tell you honestly what usually works in cases like yours.
