Do I have to pay first?
No. You only pay after approving the final design.
How long does it take?
Production takes 7 to 14 working days, counted from the approval of the design. Transport to the delivery address is added to that.
Can I send a photo to be engraved?
Yes, we engrave photographs with colour detail.
Do the headstones stand up outdoors?
Yes. Slate is a natural stone that resists the weather, the sun and the rain, and the engraving is treated to last outdoors without losing definition.
Do you deliver to emigrants in Europe?
Yes. We deliver in mainland Portugal, the islands and 8 European countries: France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands. Every delivery is tracked, including for emigrant families.
Can I return or cancel a personalised headstone?
Because they are pieces made exclusively to measure (name, dates, photograph and inscription), personalised headstones are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal, under article 17 of Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014. For your peace of mind, we always send the design for your approval before producing — nothing is engraved without your consent. If the piece arrives with a defect or different from the approved design, we handle the correction or replacement at no cost.
Which headstone size is right for the cemetery?
It depends on the space available on the grave or vault. On the 20×30 cm size, that of an A4 sheet, the face in the photograph reads standing in front of the grave; if the space is small, more discreet sizes suit better. If in doubt, send a photo of the space by WhatsApp and we help you choose.
Can I renew or replace an old headstone?
Yes. If the current headstone is damaged or faded, or you want to update it with a photograph, we make a new one to replace it. Just send the measurements of the available space.
How much does a cemetery headstone cost?
Our cemetery headstones start at 35 € — the price includes the name, the dates and the inscription engraved, and the colour photograph does not change the base price. No hidden fees, no payment before you approve the design.
